Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms
By creating an account or using RouteSync ("the Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to use RouteSync. By using the Service, you represent that you meet this requirement. Student accounts require a valid .edu email address.
3. User Conduct
You agree not to:
- Share personal contact information (phone numbers, personal emails, social handles) through on-platform messages
- Harass, threaten, or harm other users
- Create fake or misleading profiles
- Use the platform for any unlawful purpose
- Attempt to circumvent the platform's messaging system to contact users off-platform without consent
4. Premium Subscriptions
RouteSync offers a premium subscription at $8/month. Subscriptions are billed monthly through Stripe. You may cancel or pause your subscription at any time through your account settings. Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period. Refunds are not provided for partial billing periods.
5. Travel Coordination
RouteSync is a platform for connecting travelers — we do not arrange, operate, or guarantee any travel services. All travel arrangements are made independently between users. RouteSync is not responsible for any costs, damages, or incidents that arise from travel plans coordinated through the platform.
6. Content
You retain ownership of content you post. By posting, you grant RouteSync a license to display that content on the platform. We reserve the right to remove content that violates these terms.
7. Account Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, at our sole discretion and without prior notice.
8. Limitation of Liability
RouteSync is provided "as is." To the maximum extent permitted by law, RouteSync is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.
9. Changes to Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
